Chacom pipes of the year
Chacom must be one of the most famous French pipe brands. Pipe enthusiasts love smoking Chacom pipes since they are of great quality and made in Jura, France. Our team at la Pipe Rit knows the company Chapuis-Comoy because the workshop of the famous brand is located just a few miles away from our shop. We can therefore choose the most beautiful Chacom pipes to propose them to you. On this webpage, you will discover Chacom's pipes of the year. Pipes of this collection are rarer than models of other pipe series. Since the first edition was released in 1978, each "PdA" ("Pipe de l'Année", or "Pipe of the Year") is individually numbered and has a certificate of authenticity. The production is also limited because the workshop only made 1245 models in 2024, all finishes combined. You will indeed find pipes with a smooth or sandblasted finish. The latter may slightly change each year (in 2019 and 2020, Chacom proposed pipes made with morta!), but they are always classified the same way: the S1 grade regroups pipes with a high-end natural finish, and the S1000 most of the time proposes pipes with a dark sandblasted finish. To create Pipes of the Year, Chacom always asks its most experienced craftspeople to make them, and sometimes also works with the French pipe maker Pierre Morel ("Meilleur Ouvrier de France"), which is the case for this 2024 collection. All Chacom Pipes of the Year are true collector's items made in France. They reflect elegance, quality and French know-how to delight pipe smokers!
