Dunhill Inner Tube pipe (x1)
3,00 €
The Inner Tube, a Dunhill invention:
The patented "inner tube" was created by Alfred Dunhill in 1912. This filter was first developed by the brand to prevent Dunhill's pipes from clogging up too quickly. Indeed, thanks to this filter, the shank's interior is better protected. This aluminium filter thus facilitates the pipes cleaning as it prevents the shank from getting clogged - the tars are indeed trapped inside this Inner Tube.
Please note that the Inner Tube filter is not suitable for all Dunhill pipes. It is only suitable for straight Dunhill pipes, which are fitted with this system as standard.

How do I set up this Dunhill Inner Tube filter?
First of all, you need to disassemble the stem of your Dunhill pipe. For this, please wait until your pipe is completely cold (do not handle it while it is still warm). Then gently pull the stem out. We recommend that you keep your hands aligned with the shank and position them near the joint (i.e. between the shank and the stem).
The Inner Tube should be inserted in a specific direction. The bevelled tip should be positioned towards the bowl. You will then insert the other tip into the tenon before reassembling your pipe.
The Dunhill Inner Tube filter is sold individually. The other items shown in our illustration photos are not included with the purchase of this filter.
