Also called Ukulele, the Eskimo pipe is original and rare. Ed Burak (American pipe master) was the first to conceive such a pipe. He gave his creation the name "Bulldog", even if there are rather striking differences with the classical Bulldog pipes. Danish pipe makers took over its shape a while after, particularly Tom Eltang who gave it the name "Eskimo". This pipe has the particularity to be almost only flat. Indeed, its bowl looks like the one of a Bulldog which would have been crushed. It is equipped with a small stem. At this stage, the shank is therefore thin, and then its silhouette more and more flares out until it becomes the whole width of the bowl. In most cases, the Eskimo pipe is equipped with a flat bottom, allowing the smoker to put away his pipe without using any specific carrier. Eskimo pipes are highly prized by collectors, but we have right now the chance to propose you a few models made by great pipe masters.
