Legend Rob Roy corn cob pipe (bent bit)
15,00 €
Where does this "Rob Roy" pipe come from?
This legendary pipe comes from Missouri, USA. Made from a genuine corn cob, the latter is hollowed out and then processed for better heat resistance. This "Rob Roy" is named after a New-York cocktail made of whisky and vermouth. It seems that this famous alcohol mixture would itself be named after Mister Robert Roy MacGregor, a very famous outlaw in Scotland during the XVIIIth century!
Why buy this corn cob pipe?
Not too expensive and smooth when smoked, this is the perfect model to get started with pipes or to taste different tobaccos. Indeed, corn smoothes pipe tobacco tastes. Therefore, corn cob pipes are very pleasant to smoke. It is however important to smoke slowly, and to handle the pipe with care in order to keep it as long as possible.
This pipe has a transparent orange stem, slightly bent for more comfort. You also have to know that this pipe is equipped with a 6mm filter, even though it is still possible to smoke without it. We advise you to regularly change the filter if you want it to be as efficient as possible.
Because of the nature of corn cobs themselves, the finish of this pipe may be more or less smooth/of an uneven surface depending on the model, giving their charm to each pipe!
