What is a pipe-reamer?

The pipe-reamer is a tool specifically designed for the maintenance of the tobacco chamber of a pipe, and it will be very useful when the carbon layer is too thick.

Over your tobacco tastings, you will see that a layer of carbon will get thicker on the walls of your pipe's tobacco chamber. You will therefore not be able to pack as much tobacco as you did before. You will thus need to scrape this layer of carbon. To do so, this pipe-reamer will allow you to scrape that layer in a uniform way, without damaging the wood.

Will this pipe-reamer fit in my pipe?

This pipe-reamer can adapt to the size of the bowl of your pipe thanks to its 3 adjustable "claws". It will therefore fit in bowls with the following dimensions:

• minimum interior diameter : 1.8cm
• maximum interior diameter : 2.2cm

When unscrewing the upper part of this pipe-reamer, you will also find a cleaning pick. The latter is very useful if a tobacco strand is stuck in the shank of your pipe.
