This box set is a complete maintenance kit to maintain your pipes and keep them clean. It indeed regroups all the tools you may need to take care of your pipe. This kit includes: 1 pipe-reamer (the explenations of the latter being detailed further), 4 brushes (including two that are thinner), 1 pipe tamper, 1 scraper.

Why and how should I use a pipe reamer?

This reamer is specifically made to maintain the bowl of your pipe in which the carbon cake has become too thick. When the pipe is smoked, a layer of carbon builds up on the walls of the tobacco chamber, narrowing the bowl. Thus it is not possible to put as much as tobacco as you did before. The solution is therefore to remove the excess of carbon! In order to do that, the reamer will help you to homogeneously scrape the crust without risking to damage the briar part of the bowl.

Please note that the reamer is adjustable depending on the size of the bowl thanks to its 3 adjustable claws. It can be used with pipes having the following diametres for their bowl:

• minimum : 1,8 cm
• maximum : 2,2 cm
