Rostiak Fumeterre pipes

The workshop of Joseph Rimbaud, also known as Jojo Rostiak, is located in the village of Les Crozets (in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park), and it is where the pipe maker designs his pipes with a unique style. More and more famous in his field, Joseph Rimbaud does not propose too many pipes so that quality prevails over quantity. After he had the chance to learn the tricks of the trade thanks to the famous pipe maker Pierre Morel, he decided to establish his own workshop in 2016. And then two years later, he was inducted in the Confrérie des Maîtres Pipiers de Saint-Claude! We are therefore proud to propose Rostiak's latest creations on our Internet website and in our shop since 2019. On this webpage, we chose to present you the "Fumeterre" collection. Unlike other pipe series proposed by the craftsman, Rostiak Fumeterre pipes have classic shapes, very pleasant to hold in the hand. For even more originality, some models made with briar are decorated with parts made with morta (whether at the top of the bowl or at the end of the shank, or even both). These pipes are 100% made in Jura, France, since even their name comes from Nature (and more specifically from fumitory, a medicinal plant used for liver related issues).
