Terminus, a French creation :
Terminus pipes were born in Saint-Claude (Jura, France). The workshop "Grandclément & Gauteron" was the first one to make these pipes. This new design was actually patented under the name "Système Terminus". Nowadays, Terminus pipes are true collector's items since they are not produced anymore... It is therefore difficult to find Terminus pipes that have never been smoked!
This briar pipe has been drilled differently compared to classic pipes. The smoke therefore has to flow in a very particular way. Thanks to this, impurities in the smoke are "trapped" in the shank and the stem of the pipe. Terminus pipes would therefore allow a more pleasant smoke.
A unique pipe:
This pipe has a classic-sized bowl. The shank is decorated with a band of a silvery color. The latter will strengthen the junction between the shank and the ebonite stem. The silhouette of this pipe will also allow it to be pleasant to hold in the hand.
Because these pipes are handmade, you may notice small differences from one model to another.
