A handmade pipe, it's royal!
This sublime carved pipe represents a royal eagle! The craftsman has shaped this example with a master hand. According to us, it is certainly one of his best creations. This piece is amazing because he succeeded in reproducing all the smallest details of the bird: the precision of the feathers, the hooked beak, the eyebrows... everything is there!
This pipe was imagined by Roger Vincent in the 90s. It is following the request of a customer that Roger imagined this model inspired by photographs. Each feather is made one by one with a small milling cutter. The beak is slightly wider than the bird's for more strength.
The Roger Vincent Royal Eagle carved pipe is part of the 135 models present at the Museum of the pipe in Saint-Claude.
